Situated in southeastern Ontario's Canadian Shield wilderness, Bon Echo Provincial Park is known for the towering Mazinaw Rock, decorated with 1000-yr old Algonquin pictographs. It can be seen brightly lit at sunset with ancient white cedars clinging to the granite cliffs. No wonder it was a favourite spot of several Group of Seven painters.
